Madonna was a musical guest on The Ellen Show for a week-long residency.

Madonna recorded all of her performances for the show in just one day at the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, California on 16 March 2015. The bullfighting-themed performance of Living for Love aired on 17 March 2015. A live slower acoustic arrangement of Joan of Arc aired on 18 March 2015, while Ghosttown aired on 19 March. On 20 March 2015, Madonna Week ended with a pre-taped Bathroom Concert Series segment which featured Madonna and Ellen singing a rendition of Dress You Up in bathrobes.

For the “Living for Love” performance, Madonna wore a bespoke Nicolas Jebran torodoro suite, custom Miu Miu pumps and custom Steampunk Wolf gloves. Rings by Loree Rodkin, Lynn Ban, Bochic and Joelle. Styling by Bea Akerlund
My favourite Rebel Heart look: Madonna looking stunning in a black velvet Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2014 Haute Couture dress. The garment was inspired by a dress Ginger Rogers wore in “Carefree” (1938)
